You don’t need us to tell you what an unusual year it’s been (again!). We know that from the uncertainty to the cancelled plans and frequent last-minute changes, you’ve felt it all too.
That’s one of the reasons we’re so impressed by your hard work again this year and how you continue to consistently support students and their financial wellbeing throughout all the mayhem.
We know it means more coming from students themselves, so we thought we’d let some of our student community do the talking and tell you in their own words just how grateful they are:
I always feel confident that I can reach out for support with anything from assignment to wellbeing support!
Staff are always really helpful and approachable. I never feel judged when I have a money question and they always have the answers!
I learned a lot and got all the support I needed, thank you all and merry Christmas!
You have been incredible in all the hard work and dedication you have put in. We are floored by your work.
I’ve had a great first semester back at uni, thank you so much!
LJMU support staff are absolutely brilliant. They’ve helped me so much during my time at university. Lorraine from student advice and James from the finance department deserve a special mention. However every time I’ve reached out I’ve always received a professional and caring response. I cannot fault them.
Thank you for supporting us and creating an environment to grow and learn. I’m so very grateful. I am a single parent, with four young children at home, and honestly you’ve just been so approachable, supportive and understanding. Thank you.
Thank you for all the support and help! Proud to be NTU!
The staff at BCU were really supportive especially during the pandemic. They enabled me to progress with my course despite the issues with lockdown.
It was great to have such wonderful support and I really appreciate the help I received from university staff and also Blackbullion staff!
Thank you so much for looking out for us students. It’s been a challenging year with Covid-19, and your additional support has helped us through some difficult times financially. Cheers to a brighter 2022 ahead.
We had so much positive feedback from students when we asked them a similar question last year too. Check out the report if you haven’t done so already.
We really couldn’t succeed in our mission to support the financial wellbeing of students without your hard work. So here’s to you and to another year of working together to demystify the world of finance and improve access to funding for the young people who need it.
In the meantime, we hope you can get some well-deserved downtime over the festive period. If you’re looking for some ideas for ways to put yourself first and ring-fence some time to yourself, these pocket-sized tips to avoid burnout and suggestions for ways to relax might be helpful.
Don’t forget to sign up to our staff newsletter to get all next year’s new financial wellbeing resources (for you and your students) straight to your inbox. And if you’re not yet a member of the Blackbullion community, get in touch to talk about what we could achieve together in 2022.
