National Student Money Week 2023: Spending Snapshot campaign summary

What’s inside?

National Student Money Week (NSMW) is the annual awareness campaign organised by the National Association of Student Money Advisers (NASMA).

NSMW 2023 took place between 27th Feb – 3rd March and focused on helping students cope with the cost of living crisis by giving them the best tools, tips and tricks to help them ‘Navigate the Numbers.’

We created a new ‘Spending Snapshot’ tool on our platform to enable students to take a break from the gloomy economic headlines, hit pause and reflect on their finances.

The Spending Snapshot campaign for Blackbullion partner universities and colleges ran alongside NSMW (and for an additional week afterwards), encouraging students to create a snapshot of their financial life, providing a big-picture view of their current spending that could be used as a solid foundation for a better financial future. And students did just that!
