We hope you enjoyed learning about one of the members of our Marketing Team in last week’s post – the first in our ‘Building Blackbullion’ blog series. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be giving you more insight into the people behind the Blackbullion platform.
In our second post of the series, we’re introducing a member of our Customer Success Team.
What’s your name and what’s your role at Blackbullion?
Hi, I’m Danielle and for the past 2 years I have been the Head of Customer Success at Blackbullion. Before joining Blackbullion, I worked at universities supporting students and now I get to support the staff and students at all the institutions in our wonderful community.
Give us a piece of money advice you think everybody should know.
It’s never too late to learn and do something new – the stock market always seemed scary to me but I’ve educated myself and taken baby steps to change the way I view investment.
What are the key aspects of your role?
To make sure everyone within our community is getting the most out of the Blackbullion platform and Funds Management System to support the work the university/college does in relation to financial wellbeing.
My role is to listen to what staff are experiencing and help them to support the financial wellbeing of their students.
How does Customer Success work at Blackbullion?
In the Customer Success team, we believe the community voice is the most important voice of all. We listen to what’s happening in colleges and universities, what challenges are currently being faced and in turn, we ensure we are passing on information to help support staff so they can do what they do best; support students.
We aim to empower staff by celebrating the amazing work they do and we make sure they feel confident using Blackbullion and sharing it with students, to help students take control of their financial futures: better outcomes for students, and support for staff!
The Customer Success door is always open to our wonderful community. Whether it’s helping them overcome a problem, supporting and training them on the platform or suggesting solutions, we can help via our content and resources, or just a general life natter!
Tell us an interesting fact about you.
I represented my county at discus!
What’s your favourite thing about working at Blackbullion?
It has to be the people; working with amazing individuals within the company and getting to shout about all of their amazing work. I also get to work with so many brilliant people within our university and college partner institutions.
Thanks for reading this second instalment of our ‘Building Blackbullion’ series – as you can see, our Customer Success team plays a really important role in making sure our partners are getting as much out of the Blackbullion platform as possible.
We’ll be back in a couple of weeks to introduce another member of our team. In the meantime, keep an eye out for the first report in our upcoming ‘Student Financial Wellbeing’ Insights & Trends series – make sure you’re signed up for our staff newsletter to make sure you’re the first to get it!
