With October fast upon us, it’s almost time for the biggest competition in the Blackbullion calendar, UniBattle!
UniBattle, held this year from the 5th to 19th of November, is an annual Blackbullion competition during which universities compete to win the crown of ‘Money Smartest University’.
Each year, competing universities campaign to engage as many students as possible with Blackbullion over a two week period; using flyers, posters, and promotional material provided in the client playbook box. The university that tops the leaderboard win an awesome prize for their office, with pizza lunches going to the top 3 runners up.
In addition, students who register and watch videos on Blackbullion during UniBattle enter our amazing lucky dip, with prizes including Beats headphones, custom Nike shoes, an Nintendo Switch, and more!
UniBattle 2017 – in review
With a month to go until the battle begins again, we thought we’d take a look back at some of the amazing student engagement our university community created during last year’s UniBattle!
Last year, 10 universities took part in the ‘Battle for the Money-Smartest University’ and got hundreds of students logging on and learning every day. Here’s some of our favourite tweets from partner universities last year:

At the end of the two weeks, the all important question is always…which university won?
Last year Edge Hill University stormed ahead in the final few days, winning the Money-Smartest Uni crown and a photo-booth! With Keele University, University of Hertfordshire, and University of Manchester grabbing the runner-up pizza lunch prizes.
UniBattle 2018 – what’s to come
This year, the battle is back and bigger than ever…With a larger community, bigger and better prizes, the fight to become the Money-Smartest University of 2018 is already heating up.
UniBattle will be held between the 5th and 19th November, and is open to all universities partnered with Blackbullion, so there’s still time to start preparing.
